Outstanding Achievement Award

“The Rutgers Department of Food Science Alumni Award recognizes an individual who has made significant contributions to the field of Food Science and Technology through both industrial and academic accomplishments.  The nominee should have global recognition in their field of expertise with 20 to 30 years of experience advancing Food Science concepts for the benefit of improved food production.  The nominee should have a history with the department, either as a student, faculty member or staff and may be awarded posthumously, if necessary.  Furthermore, the accomplishments of the nominee should have a tangible impact on the Rutgers Food Science department directly or indirectly by enhancing its reputation as a premiere proponent and educator of Food Science.”
