This is the Short Abstract. It is also in Arial, 12 point, but not in bold. It is left-justified, and written as a single paragraph and not indented. Your abstract should include the topic of your research, methods used and results to-date. Be sure you have checked your document for accuracy, punctuation and spelling including scientific words that should be italicized etc. The announcement that will go out to students, faculty, and staff will come directly from the information you provide. Please keep your abstract to one paragraph, between 150-200 words. The handout you will copy for the actual seminar should be longer (See Sample B).
