The Indiana Jones of Food Microbiology, Dr. Montville works with ranchers to understand the microbiology of pulque production in Oaxaca, Mexico. He is an International Visiting Professor at the Universidad Technológica de la Mixteca, Huajuapan de León, Oaxaca, Mexico. Dr. Montville’s three children, a theatrical carpenter in New Jersey, a teacher in NYC, and an
attorney in Denver, bring him immeasurable joy and fulfillment.
Was he actually a member of the 2002 Olympic bobsled team, or is he just another skier in a silly hat?
An endurance athlete, Dr. Montville completed the Philadelphia and New York City Marathons and rode his bicycle across America. Check out his cross country bicycle adventure.
