Mission Statement

The purpose and aims of the Rutgers University Undergraduate Food Science Club are: To maintain those standards set forth for student member chapters of the Institute of Food Technologists; to advance the profession of food science and to develop professional, academic, and personal relations among members; to continue professional, personal, and academic relationships among past members through email, club updates, and alumni events; to promote cordial relations with the faculty and food science students of Rutgers University; and to cooperate with the Department of Food Science in carrying out extra-curricular student functions and activities on campus.
